And that’s it.” Arsenal had been busy after their title success with many of the squad away at the World Cup, while the transfer window and pre-season have filled a hectic summer of action. The gap between seasons has been reduced as a result of the summer tournament and now the new campaign has come around quickly leaving little time for Arsenal to secure their manager’s future. Arteta himself admitted that for now there are simply too many other things going on for his contract to come to the forefront of the club’s priorities and that instead talks will take place at the right time naturally. “There is always another priority, I think! And that’s the way we have been treating it, I think because everybody feels comfortable that the time on the contract is not going to be an issue. “I think because my will, certainly, is to be here and I am very happy here. My feeling from the club is the same one. “That is why everyone is doing things in a really organic way.”
