Chelsea can focus on completing up to 13 deals after Fernandez deadline passes

For those who love drama in the transfer window, Friday actually turned out to be a bit of an anti-climax. Bar Enzo Maresca's cheeky smirk and comments about Enzo Fernandez, nothing really happened in the way of news regarding the Chelsea midfielder. The deadline, albeit an unofficial one set by the Blues, has now passed and it looks increasingly likely that Fernandez will be playing his football at Stamford Bridge next season. That will come as music to the ears of Xabi Alonso, who has said since day one that he would like the 25-year-old to be a part of his squad for his debut campaign as Chelsea boss. Chelsea gave potential suitors more than a fair opportunity to sign Fernandez. Since May, the Blues, communicated through anonymous sources, have told everyone that the Argentina international is available for £120million. Pay that and he was yours. FOLLOW OUR CHELSEA FB PAGE! Latest Blues news, analysis and much more via our dedicated Facebook page Nobody did pay that, though, and Chelsea sources now expect to keep hold of Fernandez for the 2026/27 season, with Stamford Bridge insiders ruling out the possibility of a January sale. Now, Chelsea's attention has switched to shipping off a large handful of players before the summer transfer window closes in just over two weeks' time. Liam Delap could be one of those to leave the Bridge before the conclusion of the window. The 23-year-old striker, signed for £30m last summer, has interest from overseas, as well as numerous Premier League clubs. Chelsea, sources close to the situation say, want in excess of £50million for Delap. The Blues are keen to make a substantial profit on the Englishman despite scoring just two goals in 41 appearances across all competitions in his debut season in west London. Nicolas Jackson, meanwhile, is also available for purchase between now and September 1. The 25-year-old forward has a £65m price tag on his head after returning from his loan spell at Bayern Munich. Jackson has interest from Aston Villa and the feeling is said to be mutual. Chelsea are looking to offload at least three strikers before the end of the window. Marc Guiu is available for £25m with the 20-year-old not part of Alonso's plans for the upcoming season. David Datro Fofana, who has not played for the Blues' first team since 2023, is also available for sale in the next couple of weeks. Strasbourg are an option for Mykhailo Mudryk, who also has interest from several Premier League clubs, including Coventry City. The BlueCo-owned French club is viewed as a good option for the Ukrainian winger, who is in desperate need of competitive minutes after returning to competitive football recently following a suspension. Mamadou Sarr and Aaron Anselmino both have interest from numerous sides regarding a loan deal in the new season. Chelsea are willing to allowing both to depart as Alonso looks to trim down his central defensive options before the window closes. Sources say a Premier League loan is preferred for Sarr. Tosin Adarabioyo has big interest from Benfica, with former Fulham boss Marco Silva keen on a reunion with the 28-year-old defender. Tosin also has admirers from the Premier League, with Chelsea willing to sell the former Manchester City centre back for the right price. However, sources would not disclose Chelsea's valuation. Elsewhere, Benoit Badiashile has agreed a deal to join Napoli on a season-long loan deal, football.london understands. Chelsea and the Italian club have agreed a temporary deal for the 25-year-old to move to Naples, with the Blues receiving £2.5m as a loan fee. Napoli have a £23m option to buy Badiashile once his loan expires. Axel Disasi is expected to leave Chelsea before the window's closure. The Frenchman has plenty of interest in his signature, from England and overseas, and the Blues are willing to negotiate his sale. Crystal Palace are understood to be keen on securing a loan deal for Disasi but Chelsea would prefer a permanent solution. Meanwhile, Chelsea are not actively looking to sell Malo Gusto but the west Londoners will entertain offers in the region of £75m. Manchester City are interested in signing the 23-year-old France international but were somewhat put off by the Blues' price tag. Pedro Neto is also available for sale this summer. The 26-year-old has interest from at least four Premier League sides, with Man City among those, and Chelsea will sell but only for the right price. While sources wouldn't disclose exactly what fee it would take, they pointed towards the winger market being inflated due to Yan Diomande's £120m move to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain demanding £145m for Bradley Barcola. Finally, Omari Kellyman looks set to be on his way out of Chelsea. The Blues are in talks with Strasbourg over a permanent move for the 20-year-old playmaker, who is keen to move abroad rather than another domestic loan spell.
