Manchester United will face AC Milan in the final friendly contest of the summer tomorrow in Wroclaw. Man United manager Michael Carrick is expected to field a strong XI ahead of the Premier League curtain-raiser against Hull City next weekend. United confirmed their 26-man travelling squad earlier today, with Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez all included for the first time this summer. The returning trio are expected to get minutes tomorrow, although it would be a major surprise to see any of them handed a starting role. Carrick could make five changes to the side that battled to a 1-1 draw with Leeds United in mid-week. Goalkeeper Senne Lammens The Belgium international produced several crucial saves against Leeds and is expected to retain his place between the posts. Defence Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Ayden Heaven, Luke Shaw Dalot should retain his place at right-back but is expected to hand the captain’s armband back to Bruno Fernandes. Maguire could return to the starting XI after being given a welcome rest in midweek. Leny Yoro was exceptional against the Yorkshire outfit but left-footed Heaven will provide better balance to the defence. The second defensive change could see Luke Shaw replace Harry Amass at left-back. Midfield Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, Bruno Fernandes Santos has started every pre-season game and looks increasingly certain to anchor the midfield against AC Milan and potentially Hull City. Tielemans could partner the Brazilian in the absence of Mason Mount. Carrick gave Tyler Fletcher an opportunity last time out but the teenager was guilty of two sloppy mistakes. Fernandes remains untouchable in the number 10 role. He replaces Joshua Zirkzee in the XI. Attack Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo Benjamin Sesko has not travelled to Poland, leaving Mbeumo as the obvious choice to spearhead the attack after his blistering pre-season form. Patrick Dorgu has yet to do enough to force his way into the starting XI, opening the door for Carrick to unleash Cunha on the left with Amad operating on the opposite flank. Shea Lacey and JJ Gabriel could be handed valuable minutes after the interval.
