Club Brugge are confident of completing the signing of Racing Genk's Belgian-Nigerian forward Noah Adedeji-Sternberg as negotiations between the two Belgian clubs continue to gather pace.
According to transfer market expert Sacha Tavolieri, fresh talks are expected to take place in the coming days, with both sides aiming to finalize an agreement for the promising winger.
The Belgian Pro League champions have identified Adedeji-Sternberg as a leading candidate to replace Christos Tzolis, who was sold to Arsenal last month for a Belgian Pro League record fee of 40 million euros.
A key factor in the negotiations is the player's desire to make the switch to the Jan Breydel Stadium.
The Belgium U21 international is keen on joining Club Brugge, a stance that could help move discussions forward, even though Genk are under no obligation to sell.
Adedeji-Sternberg is currently valued at around €10 million, meaning the Blauw-Zwart will have to meet Genk's demands to complete the transfer.
The attacker has been on the books of Club Brugge since 2023, rising through the ranks to make his senior debut in a 3-1 victory over RWD Molenbeek. in February 2024.
Under contract with Club Brugge until June 30, 2028, Adedeji-Sternberg has recorded six goals and six assists in 79 appearances for the club.
