Colorado College seized control early, grabbing a 1-0 lead just 81 seconds into the match as Ella Ashouri tapped home the first goal of her collegiate career off a cross into the box from Nadia Cassamajor. The Tigers continued to controlled possession throughout the remainder of the first half, taking a 1-0 advantage into the locker room. Colorado College quickly added to its lead in the 55th minute as Kate Pulley slotted a pass from Ashouri past Bluejay goalkeeper Morgan Paley into the bottom right corner of the net to make it 2-0 Tigers. Ashouri would then put the contest out of reach, punching in her second goal of the match in the 62nd minute on a blast from the top of the 18-yard box. Creighton got on the board late as senior Olivia Duray bounced a shot of the post from an entry pass from Sarah Hyde in the 80th minute to make the final score 3-1. Fifth-year goalkeeper Kailey Hall was also credited with an assist on the play, becoming the first Bluejay goalkeeper to record an assist since Alyssa Zalac at Seton Hall in 2024. Colorado College outshot Creighton 12-8 in the contest, while the Bluejays held a slim 5-4 advantage in corners created.
