Nottingham Forest have reportedly offered former AC Milan technical director Geoffrey Moncada a top job within their football hierarchy. Uncertainty has surrounded the future of Forest's Global Head of Football Edu Gaspar since the spring, with Chief Football Officer George Syrianos quoted on transfer deals this summer. A senior role could be filled by Moncada according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The Italian website reports that Moncada has been offered a position within the sports department at the City Ground. He is credited with playing a key role in Milan's deals to sign France number one Mike Maignan, defender Pierre Kalulu and Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, now at Manchester City. Frenchman Moncada, 40, left Milan at the end of last season after the Rossoneri finished fifth in Serie A and missed out on qualification for the Champions League. Forest are undergoing a reshuffle of their own this summer with Oliver Glasner appointed head coach after overseeing the most successful periods in Crystal Palace's history. Beneath Edu, who is still listed as Head of Football on Forest's website, and Syrianos sits technical director Pedro Ferriera. Ferreira arrived from Benfica in 2024 and has been a key player in recent transfer windows.
