WWE makes a huge announcement involving Oba Femi and Bron Breakker. While Femi is riding high after beating and officially retiring Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam 2026, there was a major question about how the Stamford-based promotion would follow it up. While Femi made an appearance on the following episode of Monday Night RAW to address his victory, which is when fans got a glimpse of what his feud could be, as he had an intense face-off with Breakker. There was more of a tease, as The Dawg had even confronted Paul Heyman, accusing him of making The Ruler his new best friend. Things were taken up a notch this week when Femi and The Dawg had a heated confrontation when Femi ran in to save Akira Tozawa, who was getting beaten up by The Vision, thereby making it known that Femi’s next feud would indeed be with Breakker, and now the rivalry has been taken a step further with an announcement by the Stamford-based promotion. WWE Announces Massive Match Between Oba Femi And Bron Breakker While fans have been waiting for the two behemoths to finally get into a match to kickstart the feud, WWE seems to be capitalizing on the same, as they announced a match for the Tag Team Championships, which are currently being held by Bron Breakker and Austin Theory of The Vision, to be defended in a dark match against the team of Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi on their X/Twitter. This match will take place after the tapings of Friday Night SmackDown this week, that takes place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
