Could Tessa Blanchard be the latest major name headed to Major League Wrestling? During an appearance on the “Who’s The Champ?” podcast, MLW CEO Court Bauer revealed that the company is in talks with Blanchard, who became a free agent earlier this summer. When asked directly whether Blanchard was among the names being considered for MLW, Bauer confirmed the talks. He said, “She’s been someone that has been in the mix since she became a free agent and people have been wondering about her in MLW. I can confirm. We are in talks with Tessa. That’s about all I can confirm at this point, but you know, she’s incredibly talented.” Blanchard has never appeared on MLW programming, although Bauer revealed that she was originally expected to be part of the promotion’s return in 2017. However, scheduling issues prevented that from happening. Blanchard secured her release from TNA Wrestling in June and has spent much of 2026 wrestling for CMLL.
