Tottenham youngster has emerged as a priority target for European giants. Tottenham Hotspur have so far signed Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, and Martin Dubravka. It remains to be seen if there will be any more incomings this summer, even though our club officials are working day and night behind the scenes to further reinforce Roberto De Zerbi’s squad. The North London club have also been boosted by the impending return of Dejan Kulusevski, who was recently pictured returning to training after last playing for the club back in May 2025. Several young players and fringe first-teamers have departed the club, with Manor Solomon being the latest to leave and join West Ham. Spurs have also reportedly reached an agreement with Inter Milan for the transfer of Djed Spence. Young full-back Souza has been linked with an exit from White Hart Lane. Since arriving at Tottenham from Santos in the January transfer window, the 20-year-old made a total of four Premier League appearances in the second half of last season. However, none of those came under De Zerbi, and with Andy Robertson arriving on a free transfer from Liverpool, Souza’s future at the club has become uncertain. FC Porto not giving up on Souza Souza is drawing attention from FC Porto. Recent reports suggest that the Portuguese giants have already made multiple offers to sign the Brazilian left-back, but Tottenham have not been interested in listening to any of them on the insistence of De Zerbi. The Spurs boss is backing the youngster to be a ‘game-changer’ for his side in the upcoming season. However, according to journalist Santi Aouna on X, FC Porto are not giving up on their pursuit of Souza. They want to push and make progress on a move for the left-back, who they view as a priority. The Portuguese club are trying to push for Souza, and Spurs’ stance on the transfer is becoming clear. The Lilywhites do not want to let the Brazilian prodigy leave this summer, either on loan or permanently. It would take something special from the Dragons to change Tottenham’s plans. Following the decision to sanction Spence’s sale to Inter Milan, De Zerbi’s persistence to keep Souza should only increase. This is because the Italian is wary of the unprecedented injury situation that the North Londoners endured last season, and to tackle the rigours of a 38-game Premier League season, he needs depth in every area of the pitch. Thus, our gaffer wanting to keep the South American talent makes total sense.
