Chiefs in Mumbwa District have declared their support for President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA and the UPND ahead of the August 13 General Election. Speaking on behalf of the traditional leaders, Chief SHAKUMBILA of the Sala people said the chiefs are united in supporting President HICHILEMA’s bid for a second term. Chief SHAKUMBILA was speaking when Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO paid a courtesy call on traditional leaders in Mumbwa District. He said the district will give President HICHILEMA overwhelming support, adding that he should be given another term to complete ongoing development projects. The traditional leader also commended Government for constructing palaces for chiefs across the country. Meanwhile, Mrs. NALUMANGO thanked the traditional leaders for their support and urged them to extend it to all UPND-adopted candidates in the General Election. And the Mumbwa Pastors Fellowship also endorsed President HICHILEMA, saying his development record will influence voters as the country heads to the polls.
