For weeks, West Virginia University has been working to keep Brenen Lorient in the fold. That came after the senior forward planned to pursue a fifth year of eligibility. He did that, filing for an injunction against the NCAA in the Northern District Court of West Virginia..... and, today, sources confirm that Lorient plans to stick with the Mountaineers. That injunction - which included forward Javan Buchanan, who was already on campus and practicing with the team - not only pushed for the extra year, but also allowed Lorient to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal. The second half of that was in far more legal jeopardy than the first half, but other schools from the Big 12, the Big Ten and more were interested in adding Lorient to their roster. That talk subsided as players and schools awaited court decisions, which continue to rage across the country. Today, though, Lorient's agents said he would be sticking with WVU, something that was retweeted by Head Coach Ross Hodge.
