Due to both opposition clubs progressing in the Carabao Cup, their meetings with Stags have been rearranged. Mansfield will now host Luton at the One Call Stadium on Sunday, 30 August, with kick-off at 3pm. Their away trip to Reading have been moved to Wednesday, 2 September, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm. The Reading game has been selected for TV broadcast and will be shown live on Sky Sports+. Stags were knocked out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Sheffield United on Sunday. A tough 3-0 defeat at the One Call Stadium marked the start of their competitive 2026/27 season. Reading beat League One new boys Bromley on penalties in their Carabao Cup clash, while Luton Town progressed to the second round after a 3-0 win over Gillingham. League One returns this weekend, with Stags preparing to face Doncaster Rovers at home on Saturday. The clash will also be shown live on Sky Sports+. Mansfield’s first league away day of the season will take place the following weekend against Peterborough.
