Cruz Montana has sent a warning to Zilla Fatu after his WWE NXT debut. After months of speculation, Zilla Fatu, the son of WWE legend Umaga, made his debut on the August 11, 2026, episode of NXT. He made a surprise appearance during the main event, which saw Cruz Montana take on Grayson Waller with NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo in commentary. He attacked both superstars in the ring and stared down D’Angelo, making it clear that he’s coming for the title. Zilla Fatu is also the great-nephew of The Wild Samoans, which connects him to the Bloodline on the main roster. After the event, Cruz Montana (FKA Mike Santana) took to X/Twitter to warn Fatu, saying he doesn’t care if he’s related to one of the most influential families in wrestling. He noted that he made things personal, implying that he’s looking for retaliation. “IDGAF who your family is. THIS SH*T IS PERSONAL,” Cruz Montana wrote. Zilla Fatu’s NXT debut came after reports indicated he was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando and that he had signed a contract with the company. The promotion teased a free agent’s arrival on last week’s NXT when General Manager Robert Stone received a mysterious phone call backstage. It eventually led to Fatu’s arrival. Stone also shared his reaction to the debut after the show. Fans expected Zilla Fatu to enter the Bloodline storyline on the main roster immediately after his debut. However, with WWE putting him on NXT, it will be interesting to see when he’ll either join forces with or oppose Roman Reigns and the rest of the family on RAW.
