Sun TV Q1 PAT up 17 per cent at ₹619 crore

Sun TV Network Ltd reported a 17 per cent uptick in net profit to ₹619 crore for the quarter ended June 2026 (Q1FY27), as against ₹529 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations was up 13 per cent to ₹1,458 crore (₹1,290 crore).
For Q1FY27, domestic subscription revenues were at ₹485 crore as up 3 per cent y-o-y. Advertisement revenues for the quarter went up 2 per cent y-o-y at ₹282 crore.
Meanwhile, the company’s cricket franchises - Sunrisers Hyderabad, Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Sunrisers and Sunrisers Leeds- posted revenues of ₹630 crore in the June quarter up from ₹473 crore in the year ago quarter
The Board of Directors of Sun TV Network also declared an interim dividend of ₹5.00 per share (100 per cent).
Sun TV operates satellite television channels across seven languages of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bangla, Marathi and Hindi. It also airs FM radio stations across India.
On the NSE, the company’s share closed at ₹477, down by ₹6.70 (-1.39 per cent).
