As reported by football.london this week, Arsenal have already received an approach from Galatasaray about a potential move for Martinelli. However, it’s understood that the Gunners are not expected to consider entertaining allowing Martinelli to move to Turkey, as they look for alternatives to Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. At the time, there was no mention of Galatasaray being interested in Nwaneri, although the teenager’s future has been in doubt this summer following his return from a loan spell at Marseille last term. A fresh report from Turkish news outlet Sabah has reported that Martinelli and Nwaneri are of interest to Galatasaray this summer, but have different terms for each deal. The report claims that the Super Lig club want to sign Martinelli on loan with an option to buy, while Nwaneri would just be a loan without a clause to make the move permanent. It has also been reported that Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has approved of the transfer for both Martinelli and Nwaneri, which has led to the Istanbul-based club pressing ahead with their efforts to try and sign the duo. Sabah also claim that Galatasaray had wanted to sign Rafael Leao from AC Milan, but a €60million (£51million) asking price has seen them abandon that move and turn their attention to Martinelli and Nwaneri instead.
