Dundee United is set to take part in the returning SPFL Tennent’s Sixes, taking place across Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October 2026 at Braehead Arena! The iconic indoor football competition is making its return, bringing together 12 clubs and a host of familiar faces from across Scottish football for a weekend of action. United will name a nine player squad for the tournament, giving Arabs the opportunity to see former Terrors pull on the tangerine once again. UNITED’S FIXTURES The Terrors will take to the arena twice on the opening day of the competition, beginning against Aberdeen during the opening session before facing St Johnstone later that afternoon. Attention then turns to Sunday, with a Dundee derby rounding off United’s scheduled fixtures ahead of the Finals later that day. THE SQUAD United will be represented by a nine player squad, with the full group set to be revealed ahead of the tournament. Player eligibility will predominantly see former professionals aged 35 and over take part, while players under the age threshold must have been retired from football for at least three full seasons. The squad reveal will give supporters the chance to discover which familiar faces will be back in tangerine at Braehead Arena.
