LAHORE: A major development has emerged in the Pakistan Cricket Board’s disciplinary proceedings against players, as cricketers Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan appeared before the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). According to sources, both players appeared at the NCCIA Lahore office on Thursday after receiving notices directing them to appear before the agency. The sources said Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan requested additional time to submit their responses to the agency. Both cricketers had been summoned by the NCCIA in connection with the ongoing matter involving players, as the PCB’s disciplinary proceedings continue. The players’ appearance before the agency marks a significant development in the case.
