Windsor sweeps Norwich in volleyball match Black Knights take first set 25-15 en route to 3-0 win WINDSOR, NY (WBNG) - The Windsor Black Knights hosted the Norwich Purple Tornado in a volleyball match Thursday night. Windsor won three sets to none. On the first serve of the match, Payton Baret bumped the ball to Gabriella Hans, who spiked it down for a kill and the early point for Windsor. A few serves later, two bumps set up another Windsor kill through the defense, this time from Charley Carr, putting the Black Knights up 3-1 in the set. Windsor’s Ruby Hans served into the corner for an ace, and Norwich could not return it. The Black Knights led the set 14-8. On a later Windsor serve, Norwich hit the ball into the ceiling but kept it in play. Briana Cirigliano scored the point for the Purple Tornado with a backwards set. At set point for the Black Knights, the pass went to Natalie Abbatiello, who spiked the ball. Norwich attempted to dig it out but could not keep it in play.
