The New England Patriots are 0-1 after their Week 1 meltdown against the Seattle Seahawks, and A.J. Brown’s injury is creating even more issues for the NFL team.
Brown and New England lost in Seattle on Wednesday night during their Super Bowl 60 rematch. However, the problems are growing for Mike Vrabel and the Pats based on the latest Brown news.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport states that the Patriots star will miss “at least four weeks” after suffering an ankle injury against the Seahawks. Brown exited the game during the second half as the Patriots were held to just 10 points on the evening.
Now, New England faces a huge issue at wide receiver just one game into the regular season. The Patriots brought in both Brown and Romeo Doubs this offseason to bolster their WR weapons for Drake Maye.

A.J. Brown injury update is troubling for Patriots
The Brown injury isn’t just a problem for the Patriots in terms of not having their number one wideout. Although, their upcoming schedule isn’t exactly favorable with several tough AFC opponents ahead.
New England faces three consecutive playoff teams from a season ago in the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills. They’ll receive a slight break the following week against the Las Vegas Raiders.

If Brown does miss four or more weeks, that does create a huge issue for the Patriots as they try to make another Super Bowl run.
Vrabel and the Pats don’t have many viable replacements at wide receiver after trading away Kayshon Boutte to the Houston Texans. New England’s current depth chart boasts Doubs, Mack Hollins and DeMario Douglas as the Pats try to stay afloat without Brown.
