The Bear’s Den - Another Day, Another Practice, Huge Injury News Chicago Bears News & Notes: Good news, bad news on the injury front, weather cancels fans at practice again Some of the injury news we got today was amazing. Literally. Fans, media members and some medical people were shocked to learn how far along Ozzy Trapillo has gotten in his rehab from his knee surgery. The news about Coby Bryant was, however, a lot more sobering. Moves are being made, because Coby’s out for at least most if not all of the regular season following surgery on a busted knee. BEARSSSSSS - LATEST CHICAGO BEARS NEWS & UPDATES The Bears added some depth to their offensive line on Tuesday. There won’t be many more opportunities for Williams to do what he did Tuesday afternoon — face players in full pads chasing him. Williams looked promising in the Bears’ scrimmage on the Halas Hall backfields. Good news for a key piece of the Bears offense on what was a very back-and-forth day, according to reports. As somebody who has had that injury, I’m amazed. Bummer. Nothing more needs be said. Who is in, who is out, who is up, who is down? Unofficially, of course. Fun fact: Xavier Woods has a higher pass-defense ranking in Madden than Coby Bryant. These players need to put their best foot forward this week to boost their chances of making the Bears’ final 53-man roster.
