Hull City target Zan Vipotnik given '£20m price tag' by Swansea City as offer claim emerges
Swansea City are said to have slapped a hefty price tag on a Hull City transfer target
Swansea City have reportedly slapped a £20m price tag on Hull City target Zan Vipotnik.
Somewhat unsurprisingly, the forward is a wanted man after scoring 25 goals across all competitions for Swansea last season.
Recent reports claimed the 24-year-old was the subject of a bid from Hull, who are preparing for life in the Premier League.
Swansea City slap ‘price tag’ on Hull City target
According to Sky Sports, Swansea will demand a fee of £20m for their prized talisman.
Hull are said to have offered around £10m but will seemingly have to dig deeper if they want to get the Slovenia international on board.
It remains to be seen whether there will be further interest from the newly-promoted Tigers, or whether they will look elsewhere.
Vipotnik only signed a new contract, one committing him to the Swans until 2030, earlier this year.
Swansea’s head coach Vitor Matos said: “Zan has enjoyed an excellent season, and his goals have played a big part in the positive results we have enjoyed.
“This new contract is a deserved reward, and we will look to make sure he and the team have a strong end to the season, and we help him to continue to develop as a player.”

Hull City’s transfer dilemma
Hull’s promotion to the Premier League has boosted the coffers and the Tigers could do with easing the goalscoring burden on Oli McBurnie.
However, there may be reservations over forking out such a hefty fee for a player yet to prove himself in England’s top flight.
The only top tier he has plied his trade in is the Slovenian PrvaLiga, as he was on the books of Bordeaux in Ligue 2 before joining Swansea.
