Tottenham would favour a permanent sale to avoid Vicario's value decreasing. Antonin Kinsky is Roberto De Zerbi's new No.1, and the Spurs head coach has already made it clear that Vicario wants out. Vicario played 31 times for Tottenham in the Premier League last season but he was forced to undergo hernia surgery in March and Kinsky stood in for the Italian until the end of the season. The 29-year-old was back on the bench for the final two matches but has expressed his desire to return to Italy having arrived at Tottenham from Empoli in the summer of 2023.
