Tottenham dealt fresh Guglielmo Vicario blow after £30m PSG transfer agreement Tottenham are still trying to find a buyer for goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, who is keen to depart the club this summer Juventus are exploring a loan move for Japan international goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, even though he's on course to sign for PSG from Parma. The European champions are finalising the £30million arrival of the Parma shot-stopper, whom Juventus had been trying to sign as their new No.1. His situation is linked to Guglielmo Vicario's Tottenham future as Juve are among the Italian's biggest admirers. While the Old Lady remain interested in Vicario, they are now trying to clarify whether it's possible to get Suzuki on loan once he completes his PSG transfer formalities. Initially, Suzuki's decision to sign for the French giants appeared to boost Spurs' quest to offload Vicario, as Vicario then emerged as a strong option for Juventus. FOLLOW OUR TOTTENHAM FB PAGE! Tottenham would favour a permanent sale to avoid Vicario's value decreasing. Antonin Kinsky is Roberto De Zerbi's new No.1, and the Spurs head coach has already made it clear that Vicario wants out. However, if Juventus do not advance for Vicario, the landscape looks rather bleak as Inter Milan are no longer chasing his signature and most clubs across Europe already have goalkeepers in place for the upcoming campaign. In any case, Spurs would want to avoid keeping Vicario to warm their bench given they've already signed Martin Dubravka as Kinsky's understudy. Juventus had tried to sign Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson earlier this summer but the Reds were not prepared to let him go, though his contract at Anfield expires in the summer of 2027. If Juve are able to sign a stand-in stopper on loan, they would have scope to move for Alisson and offer the player the chance to return to Serie A, where he previously featured for Roma, next year. Current goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio has struggled to convince boss Luciano Spalletti and alongside a new centre-back, Bologna's Jhon Lucimi is a primary target, Juve want to strengthen before the end of the transfer window. Vicario played 31 times for Tottenham in the Premier League last season but he was forced to undergo hernia surgery in March and Kinsky stood in for the Italian until the end of the season. The 29-year-old was back on the bench for the final two matches but has expressed his desire to return to Italy having arrived at Tottenham from Empoli in the summer of 2023.
