According to the NFL insider, coach Brian Schottenheimer plans to use George Pickens all over the field to create matchup problems for the Giants defense. “He can play multiple spots,” Schottenheimer told Fowler. “I know in Pittsburgh he got frustrated a little bit because he was always in one spot. However, ESPN’s Dan Graziano is under the impression the one-time Pro Bowler will be on the field for New York’s game on Sunday night. “I also feel like Nabers is looking likely to suit up for the Giants against the Cowboys on Sunday night,” Graziano wrote in a Thursday report. “There was a lot of pessimism about that happening during the early and middle parts of the offseason as he seemed to be struggling in his recovery from last season’s knee injury. But Giants coaches and trainers were pleasantly surprised when they got to training camp in late July, and Nabers’ recovery had made significant progress since the June minicamp. “He didn’t have to start camp on the physically unable to perform list, which surprised people inside and outside the building, and he has been out of the noncontact practice jersey for a while now.”
