RTÉ has secured Ryder Cup highlights rights for next year's edition at Adare Manor and agreed a new multi-year agreement to screen the Amgen Irish Open. In 2025, Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry were to the fore as Europe retained the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black. It promises to be an epic rematch in Co Limerick next year as the world’s leading players square up for three days of action. Viewers will be able to watch highlights free to air, while RTÉ will also have radio rights for both the Ryder Cup and Irish Open. This year's Amgen Irish Open begins in Doonbeg today. RTÉ Head of Sport, Declan McBennett said: "Given the drama, excitement and world class field the Amgen Irish Open now attracts, we are delighted to renew our broadcast agreement and bring more great live sport to Irish audiences free-to-air. "On top of that, to be able to incorporate highlights from one of the world's great sporting spectacles that is the Ryder Cup means that RTÉ will ensure Irish audiences have even more access to memorable sporting moments on Irish soil and all free to air."
