Metalmaster by Hare & Forbes will adorn the Chevrolet Camaro that Jobe Stewart and Jarrod Hughes will drive during the Airtouch 500 at The Bend.
The car features a livery that Erebus said is “designed to showcase the connection between the products and the people using them inside the Erebus workshop.”
Metalmaster features prominently throughout the black and silver scheme.
“We’re pleased to support Erebus Motorsport, but it goes beyond a sponsorship,” said Hare & Forbes general manager Rick Foster.
“Metalmaster products are being used by the team’s fabricators as they build and prepare the Supercars, which is exactly the kind of environment we want our equipment working in.”
Marketing manager Joseph Lenthall added: “The livery is a bit of fun.
“Rather than simply putting Metalmaster branding on the car, we wanted to show where our products actually belong,” Lenthall said.
“The welding table forms the base of the livery, with the chassis sitting on top of it, just like it would in a workshop.”
This weekend’s Bend 500 is the first for Stewart as a full-timer, while Hughes makes his second start as a co-driver.
Hughes will be on double duty, dovetailing his Supercars program with the Trans Am Cup Series.
The Bend 500 takes place at The Bend Motorsport Park on September 11-13.
