Sting’s son Steven Borden started his wrestling career less than one year ago, and now finds himself featured on AEW Dynamite, the show Tony Khan says is Where The Best Wrestle. Sting’s green son uses cool finisher with Darby Allin to win his debut match on AEW Dynamite Steven Borden (Sting Jr.) shows off his moves and buries the hatchet with the Young Bucks all in the same night. After helping Darby Allin win the TNT championship at All In, and then taking a beating from the returning Josh Alexander last week, Borden competed in his official Dynamite debut match on tonight’s (Sept. 9) Rebel Heart episode. He teamed up with Darby to take on Alexander and his fellow Callis Family thug, “Dunkzilla” Mark Davis. Before the match, Borden cut a solid promo backstage about why he got into wrestling, and trying to escape his dad’s massive shadow. It's not going to light the world on fire, but it felt nature and the message resonated. That's really all you can ask for at this stage of the game for the young Borden. Also, really dig the jacket as a homage to his father. Now let's see how he handles himself in the ring. Sting Jr. is green in the ring, which is to be expected given his lack of experience. But hey, he jumps very high. You could clearly see both factors in play when he got a hot tag late in the match and ran wild on the heels. The Walking Weapon was the job guy here even though it was his return match after missing a few months due to injury. Borden and Darby used a tandem Scorpion Coffin Drop finishing move to score the three count. Borden’s night wasn’t over. He did a run in (with Darby) after the main event to chase away FTR and save the Young Bucks. He eventually shook hands with the Bucks, who once tried to send his iconic dad into retirement as a big loser, if you recall.
