Tonight’s (Sept. 9) Rebel Heart episode of Dynamite featured Rebel’s emotional return to AEW programming, after she was diagnosed with terminal ALS earlier this year. Rebel (not Reba) returns to AEW in Dr. Britt Baker’s waiting room Rebel brings her special brand of comedy to AEW Dynamite in her return following a terminal ALS diagnosis. They got right into it with Dr. Britt Baker’s “The Waiting Room” talk show segment, which hyped up a trios match for later in the night pitting heels Baker, Hikaru Shida, and TBS Champion Persephone against babyfaces Thunder Rosa, Hyan, and Maya World. Baker embraced Rebel and praised her inspiring fight against ALS, while also bringing back their “not Reba” bit from years ago.
