A new report says several recently released WWE Superstars might never wrestle again. WWE’s recent round of talent cuts saw ten NXT Superstars being released. The list included Wendy Choo, Adriana Rizzo, Zena Sterling, Anya Rune, Braxton Cole, Jasper Troy, PJ Vasa, Gary Wilson, Ellen Akesson, and Marcus Brown. Several Released WWE Talents May Not Continue Their Wrestling Careers On the latest Fightful Select Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked whether the released WWE stars will continue their wrestling careers. He replied that Anya Rune and Wendy Choo might continue their in-ring careers. However, this will be elsewhere since they have a solid background in the business. However, he said the same can’t be said about the other talent whom WWE brought in from other sports with no prior wrestling experience. Sapp said that while some of them might do signings and other appearances, fans will never get to see them compete in the ring again. Wendy Choo’s Release Reportedly Shocked The Entire Performance Center F4WOnline’s Bryan Alvarez recently commented on Wendy Choo’s release from WWE in a post for his subscribers on X/Twitter. He said, “Apparently the whole PC was shocked that Wendy Choo was released.” Wendy Choo last wrestled in a dark match against Karmen Petrovic on the August 25, 2026, episode of WWE NXT. The non-compete period for released stars from the developmental brand is 30 days, while main roster talent have to serve 90 days. Jasper Troy, who was also released, recently changed his name to Kairo D. Reign on social media and posted a tweet indicating that he’d be back in action after 30 days.
