Mary McAteer came off the bench and claimed an assist on her debut for Ipswich Town Women in the Barclays WSL2. McAteer, on a season-long loan at Ipswich, entered the field in the 80th minute for her first appearance for the team on Sunday. Ipswich were 1-0 down to Nottingham Forest at home at the time, but 13 minutes after her introduction, deep into stoppage time, McAteer laid the ball off for Megan Hornby, who ripped a spectacular 25-yard effort into the top left corner, rescuing a point for the Tractor Girls.
