Last season, AC Milan were regularly fined by the Sporting Judge and it seems that the trend will continue into this season.
It became a theme of last season: the end of the weekend’s fixtures and the arrival of a new fine for Massimiliano Allegri’s team. They were routinely late to emerge for games, both for the first and second halves.

However, Allegri’s departure was seen as a potential change to that idea. Yet, here we are, talking about a fine for Milan on the third match day of the season.
New season, same fines
MilanVibes relays the official statement from the Sporting Judge, detailing how the Rossoneri were late to emerge for the second half and have been fined €3,000 for their first offence. However, they were not fined the most for being late out, it must be said, with Venezia fined €4k.
“[Milan fined €3k] for strict liability, for having unjustifiably caused the start of the second half to be delayed by approximately two minutes.”
Considering how much the Diavolo were fined last season, it’s a trend which needs to be stopped soon. It’s a little frustrating!
