After seeing long-tenured WR Darius Slayton released, the latest Giants rumors could continue to intensify with veteran backup running back Devin Singletary. Since the New York Giants hired former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, the organization has gone through a regime shift. With Slayton gone, Singletary may likely be on the trade block in the coming weeks. Selected in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the former Florida Atlantic product finished with 119 carries for 437 rushing yards and recorded five touchdowns. Since joining the Giants in 2024, the veteran has hoped to continue the momentum from his final season in 2023 with the Houston Texans, where he finished with 898 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. However, all good things must come to an end. The Giants drafted fourth-round pick Cam Skattebo last year while signing veteran Najee Harris this offseason. Tyrone Tracy Jr. has also been named a trade candidate, but after Singletary’s contract restructure, there’s an easier path to part ways with the former Buffalo Bill. It remains unclear if the Giants are interested in dealing the veteran, but they could if Harris breaks out as Skattebo’s backup. Giants Rumors: NY Likely to Consider Huge $1M Trade; 5 Suitors Emerge Trade Value Revealed New York won’t demand a top pick, but they could get decent draft capital. However, the veteran is listed dead last in the current depth chart. The Giants probably won’t ask for more than a sixth-round pick. With Skattebo, Harris and Tracy positioned as the frontrunners, it’s not like the former Bill has a chance to increase his trade value. He could also request a trade if he isn’t getting many reps in the logjammed running back room. Possible destinations for the veteran in the next pages
