The ongoing debate over who should be setting up chairs in professional wrestling has now made its way to the WWE Performance Center.
Lexis King, the son of wrestling legend Brian Pillman, shared a photo from the WWE Performance Center featuring himself alongside several other second-generation wrestlers, including Aalyah Mysterio, daughter of Rey Mysterio; Marie Malenko, daughter of Dean Malenko; Uriah Connors, son of Fit Finlay; Avery Styles, son of AJ Styles; and Brooks Jensen, son of Bull Buchanan.
King appeared to poke fun at the recent controversy surrounding Avery Styles and the expectations placed on wrestlers at independent shows. He captioned the photo with,
“We already set up the f’n chairs.”
The post comes just days after Arik Cannon called out Avery Styles for not helping set up chairs at a recent GCW event. AJ Styles subsequently defended his son, explaining that Avery was at the event to wrestle rather than work as part of the ring crew.
