Yesterday well-placed Ibrox sources indicated to us that a deal for Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl was at risk of collapse, but there are whispers on social media that situation may have changed over the past 24 hours. Freelance journalist Sam Cohen claims a third bid from Rangers has seen them make 'significant progress' – with a deal worth €7.8m (£6.6m) now looking back on. Hjerto-Dahl has made it clear he wants the move to happen and while there remains a huge air of uncertainty around it, it could be back on the cards. One deal there isn't as much uncertainty around is Rangers' move for Partizan Belgrade skipper Vanja Dragojevic. That one we understand is just a matter of time and Partizan boss Sasa Ilic has wished his captain well as he prepares to complete his £4m move. The 20-year-old midfielder is poised to seal his switch to Ibrox from the Serbian club after two years at Partizan. And ex-Galatasaray and Red Bull Salzburg star Ilic believes Dragojevic will be a tough act to replace. He said: "Our previous captain Vanja has now left us and I wish him all the best in his future career. "Every coach in the world wants as many quality players as possible to increase the competition, but it depends on the possibilities and certain things within the club. "I hope that we will bring in a few more names who will bring extra class, which is much needed after his departure. "We have already signed four new players, but it is clear we will need some more new players now. "Partizan works in such a way that we are dependent on selling players due to our financial issues."
