And he has announced a sponsorship package designed to support the next generation of young players at his hometown club. The sponsorship will provide investment in several key areas, including new training kits and equipment, ensuring that aspiring footballers have access to the resources and opportunities that first inspired Hughes’ own journey. "Everything I have achieved so far started at this club,” he said. “The coaches, volunteers, my teammates and everyone involved gave me the opportunity to develop as a footballer. “Reaching the Premier League is a dream come true, but I will never forget where it all began. This is my way of saying thank you and helping to create opportunities while raising standards for the next generation to follow their dreams." The sponsorship reflects Hughes’ commitment to supporting grassroots football, and recognises the vital role that community clubs play in developing talent, promoting healthy lifestyles and bringing local people together.
