Natalya has named her husband, TJ Wilson, better known to the WWE Universe as Tyson Kidd, as her ultimate dream opponent. Speaking with The Sportster’s Adam Barnard, Natalya was asked which wrestler from any era of WWE or WCW she would want to face if she could choose anyone. While some might expect her to name one of the biggest stars in wrestling history, Natalya immediately picked her husband. “You know and this is gonna sound crazy, but you know, I think one of the most underrated wrestlers ever is Tyson Kidd,” Natalya said. The WWE veteran explained that Kidd’s ability in the ring has always stood out to her, even though he never became a top star during his WWE career. “I think he is so smooth and I know he’s not like he wasn’t like a big top star,” she continued. “But when I see his work and I go back and watch his work, I would say anybody Chad Gable actually said it the other day we were backstage and he was like man, TJ would have been a dream match for me.” Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya Puts Over Tyson Kidd Natalya believes Kidd would have been an ideal opponent if she were ever given the opportunity to choose a major television match. “Tyson Kidd is one of those if I could ever have like a if I was allowed to pick anybody and we could do a big television match,” Natalya said. “Yeah, he is like a wealth of ideas. He is smooth as butter and what he could do in the ring was just he’s magical. “I would say Tyson Kidd.” Kidd’s in-ring career was cut short in 2015 after he suffered a serious spinal injury during a match with Samoa Joe. He has remained with WWE as a backstage producer, where he continues to contribute to the company behind the scenes. Kidd and Natalya have also continued to pass on their wrestling knowledge through Dungeon 2.0, their training facility that carries on the legacy of the original Hart Dungeon.
