WWE fans were left frustrated after the highly anticipated showdown between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker at Sunday Night’s Main Event failed to produce a clear winner, thanks to Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Maxxine Dupri, and the returning The Vision member, Bronson Reed. The match was supposed to answer which of the two powerhouse stars truly deserved to be called the future of the company. Instead, several interferences brought the match to a DQ finish, with many fans blaming The Vision afterward. Femi and Breakker initially delivered what fans expected from the matchup. The two immediately traded brutal shoulder tackles, with neither man able to knock the other down at first. Femi eventually took control, but Breakker repeatedly found ways to fight back. At one point, he got in Femi’s face and yelled, “Future of what?!?” as the two continued fighting over their claims to WWE’s future. Femi eventually made a comeback, landing heavy uppercuts and dropping Breakker with a front kick before attempting a chokeslam. Breakker survived the near fall. The Vision then started to make their presence known in the proceedings. Austin Theory appeared at ringside, but Femi quickly stopped him by putting him through the announce desk. The distraction still gave Breakker a chance to attack Femi, but Femi eventually kicked out. Then Logan Paul ran down the entrance ramp with brass knuckles. Although the referee ejected him immediately, Maxxine Dupri secretly handed another pair of brass knuckles to Breakker. Femi avoided getting hit and fought back. Just when it looked like the match could finally reach its conclusion, Bronson Reed made his long-awaited return and immediately attacked Femi with a chair, which ended the match in a DQ. Fans online were unhappy about the involvement of The Vision members, saying that Paul and Theory needed to be kept separate from the match. Some fans questioned Maxxine Dupri’s involvement as well. The biggest frustration, however, was that fans believed Femi and Breakker were having a strong match before the interference took over.
