Jameis Winston is sticking around New York for a little while. According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the New York Giants and Jameis Winston have agreed on a two-year, $13 million extension. Winston’s career thus far Winston spent the 2025 season with the Giants and appeared in three games, compiling 567 yards through the air, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. It was his first season with the team after spending the previous season with the Cleveland Browns. Winston has also spent four seasons with the New Orleans Saints and five with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has played in 108 games, racking up 24,792 yards through the air, 156 touchdowns, and 113 interceptions. The John Harbaugh era begins The Giants hired John Harbaugh to be their head coach during the offseason after he and the Baltimore Ravens parted ways. He wants to get the Giants back up and running quickly, since the organization has won only seven combined games over the previous two seasons. They’ve also only made the playoffs once since the 2017 season. The Giants will open the 2026 season against the Dallas Cowboys, one of their biggest rivals, on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” next Sunday.
