Cheltenham Town win comeback Cup thriller The Robinesses came back from 3-1 down to triumph 4-3 against Worcester City Women Cheltenham Town came back from 3-1 down to win a 4-3 thriller against Worcester City Women in the FA Women’s National League Cup group stage. Leonie Joyce scored the winner, while Worcester missed a late penalty, as the Robinesses remained unbeaten in the Cup after two rounds. Elsewhere, QPR beat local rivals and higher-ranked Fulham, with Leeds United achieving the same feat against Huddersfield Town. An own goal had seen Cheltenham take the lead in the 19th minute before Worcester hit back to lead 2-1 at the break, before adding a third six minutes into the second half as Charlotte Poole scored a brace. Chloe Snook then responded for the Robinesses with two goals of her own before Joyce sank the winner on 84 minutes. That was not the end of the drama, however, the visitors were awarded a penalty deep in injury time, with Chloe Jones pulling off a brilliant double save to see her side claim all three points. Elsewhere in Group C, Kidderminster Harriers beat Gwalia United 1-0 for their second win of the competition. Goals from Taylor Bell and Shannon Albuery saw Queens Park Rangers to an impressive 2-0 win over Fulham. The West London rivals had previously battled in Division One South East, but Fulham’s promotion to the Southern Premier Division added an extra edge to the Hoops’ win. Leeds United are yet to lose a match this season after beating fellow West Yorkshire side Huddersfield Town 3-0. The Terriers now sit in the division above Leeds, but were unable to stop the Whites, who took the lead through Izzy Dean, before second-half goals from Amy Woodruff and Kath Smith confirmed the victory. Bridgwater United beat Plymouth Argyle 2-0 to beat a higher-ranked team, while Hull City stopped themselves from falling to the same fate as they came from behind to defeat Thornaby 2-1. Manchester City PGA scored two late goals to draw 3-3 away at Wythenshawe, while Chelsea’s PGA came from behind to beat Swindon Town 2-1, with two goals from Stevie Sinclair. Leafield Athletic achieved the same feat against Sutton Coldfield Town as Gemma Fraser and Sophie Griffiths scored in quick succession to earn a 2-1 victory. Sutton Coldfield Town generously donated 100 per cent of their gate receipts to Torquay United's fundraiser for their player Roxy Thomas, with the Gulls' opponents Marine Academy Plymouth doing the same. Sarah Wiltshire notched a first-half hat-trick for Stevenage in a 5-0 win over Cambridge United to stay unbeaten, while Hannah George got a first hat-trick for West Bromwich Albion as they beat Lye Town 6-2. Cairo-Evea Antoine was also on the scoresheet three times in Arsenal PGA’s 7-0 win over Abingdon United, while Wiktoria Fronc notched five goals for the second consecutive game as Actonians triumphed 13-1 against Ascot United.
