Milan Futuro turned things around in the second half and secured a spectacular victory at the Stadio Chinetti in Solbiate Arno against Caldiero Terme.
Sergio Navarro didn’t have a great start to life as the new head coach of the Futuro, losing his first competitive game. His side are out of the Coppa Italia Serie D at the first hurdle as they were beaten 3-1 by Sant’Angelo on Sunday, following two late knockout blows from the away side.

So, there was the need to try and bounce back with a win at home against Caldiero Terme, and they did so with a fantastic second half. The visitors went ahead though, taking the lead right at the end of the first half with Petdji.
Upon returning to the pitch, the Futuro were like a completely different team. In the 53rd minute, Ossola immediately restored parity, sparking the comeback. Just two minutes later, Borsani gave the Rossoneri the lead in the 55th minute.
The Futuro definitively took control of the match and continued to push. In the 60th minute, Silvano Vos scored the third, while in the 67th minute, Plazzotta scored the fourth for a temporary 4-1 lead.
It seemed all over, but Caldiero Terme deserve credit for not giving up. In the 76th minute, Castelli reduced the deficit, before Cardielo – ten minutes later – made it a very nervy finish.
It was a more tense end to the match than expected, but Milan secure three points and above all a victory built thanks to a second half of great intensity and attacking play.
