It has left Martinelli's future in the balance with speculation increasing that he could be sold before the end of the transfer window. Now, football.london understands that Arsenal are negotiating with Galatasaray over a fee for the Brazil international, having received an enquiry from the Turkish Super Lig club on the weekend. However, no deal will be sanctioned until there is movement in the other direction and Arsenal sort a left wing replacement themselves, after losing out on Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Junior. Tzolis has been Arsenal's starter on the left wing in pre-season, scoring against Girona on his debut before assisting from a corner against Real Betis. Galatasaray are reportedly also in talks with AC Milan over a move for winger Rafael Leao, with a £43m fee being discussed. If Arsenal were to get a similar fee for Martinelli, that would eclipse the current record-sale, which saw Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain move to Liverpool for £35m in 2019.
