The pundit feels Boyle’s return will be a major boost to Hibs as he likes what he sees otherwise. Gray’s men are next in action this Thursday during the away leg of their clash with North Macedonia’s Shkendija. What has Scott Brown said about Hibs’ win over Rangers? He said: “I know Martin Boyle’s injured at this moment in time and it was with Achilles, so hopefully it's not too long, because he's that added pace at that top end that I thought they would have benefited from because the amount of times that Rangers had possession, especially in that second half, there was space for people to go in. “If they had a Martin Boyle’s pace as well, I think they could have caught him a couple more times as well. You've got to give Dave credit, by the way, because I enjoyed this performance, especially the first half, He knew he was going to try and go foot to foot, press them higher up the park, and get after them. “He played that 4-3-3 and he's not been playing that as much, to be fair. He's came in this season with a bit of different tactics, and shape, and stuff like that. The way he's worked and the backroom staff has obviously worked on how they're going to press Rangers, how they're going to get after Rangers, and it showed on Sunday that this was a team that knew what they were doing defensively. “They were well organised and they had a lot. They could have been 2-0 up at half time. They had a good couple of chances. So they do create chances when they get them in. I look at the squad and I like the squad now.”
