STEVEN McLEAN will be in charge of Celtic’s Premier Sports League Cup-tie against Dundee United in Saturday’s 5.45pm kick-off at Tannadice. The Hoops may view the whistler as a lucky omen – the last time he officiated in one of the games involving the Parkhead men was the Scottish Cup Final against Dunfermline at Hampden on May 23 when Daizen Maeda, Arne Engels and Kelechi Iheanacho netted the goals in a 3-1 win. McLean will be assisted on Tayside by Ross Macleod and Ross Nelson on the touchlines while Ross Hardie will be fourth official. Greg Aitken will be on VAR with Duncan Williams as assistant.
