'Wonderful' - Blackpool new boy up there with Everton great for legendary manager Finley Munroe has become Blackpool’s fifth signing of the summer. Blackpool’s newest addition Finley Munroe arrives with a good reference from a former Bloomfield Road boss. The 21-year-old has joined the Seasiders on a season-long loan from Middlesbrough, having only featured three times for the North Yorkshire outfit since his switch to the Riverside Stadium from Aston Villa back in January. That transfer brought an end to a loan spell with Swindon Town, after the wing-back had scored two goals and provided nine assists in 27 appearances during his six-month stay at the County Ground. While with the Robins, Munroe played under legendary Blackpool figure Ian Holloway - who masterminded the Fylde Coast outfit’s rise to the Premier League in 2010, with current head coach Ian Evatt being part of his famous squad. It’s safe to say, the 63-year-old wasn’t pleased to lose the defender earlier this year, but did share some parting praise - comparing to Everton great and former Seasiders loanee Seamus Coleman.
