The works will include repairs, resurfacing and new road markings to create a smoother, safer journey for everyone and help protect the roads for years to come. On Central Drove works will run from August 19 to August 26 and will see the road road closed overnight from 7pm to 5am between Lune Grove and Bloomfield Road junction. On Bloomfield Road works will run from August 11 to August 26 with daytime closures in place between 8am and 5.30pm. Phase 1 will see closures between Park Road and Ansdell Road and Phase 2 will see closures in place between Ansdell Road and Central Drive.
