While with the Robins in League Two, the Bloomfield Road-linked man enjoyed a productive six months down the left side. In 27 appearances, he scored two goals and provided nine assists, before being recalled by Villa back in January to facilitate a permanent move to Middlesbrough, but only three outings came his way at the Riverside Stadium in the second half of last season.
