- - Sport - Football - Hull City Carabao Cup draw recap as Hull City find out second round opponents The Tigers' Premier League status means they'll enter the competition at the second round stage Hull City will find out who they will face in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Monday night, when the draw for the second round is made. The Tigers weren't required to take part in the opening round after their promotion to the Premier League, and will get their campaign underway later this month. City haven't won a League Cup tie since beating Leeds United on penalties at Elland Road in their League One title-winning campaign back in 2020, and will hope to end that hoodoo this time around. Tonight's draw will be made shortly after 7pm with 1904 Club podcast regular David Prutton kicking things off ahead of the Devon derby between Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City at Home Park.
