Interesting Switch in Leicester Striker Chase, Sheffield United and Preston in the Mix

Preston North End were earlier today seen as a potential destination for Tom Cannon. Sheffield United are willing to let the striker leave, with The Lillywhites interested, but said to possibly struggling to get the deal done.
Leicester sold Tom Cannon to The Blades two years ago, but the stay at Bramhall Lane has been a struggle for the 23 year old. He has scored 7 goals in 51 league games, and in no way been a regular.
This would be a good move for Russell Martin, with a return to Leicester for the Republic of Ireland international. He has solid stats, scoring 2 goals in 3 games for his nation.
We believe Admir Bristric is a done deal and just waiting for the confirmation to be settled in close time.
Leicester are short of striker options at this point. Tom Cannon and Admir Bristric will be two very good additions. Bristric on a permanent deal, Cannon believed to be back on loan with a potential option to buy. Tom is still only 23 years of age and this could a good chance to get his goalscoring going.
The Tom Cannon rumour came from an ITK account and could just be something to dream about, but such a move makes a lot of sence for both Leicester and Sheffield United. But it could also be a result of a potential package, giving Harry Souttar the chance to move in the opposite direction.
Former Luton striker Elijah Adebayo is still a free agent.
He's been on trial at Bristol City but that wont be happening now they've signed Ballard & Tolaj.

As reported earlier in the week Elijah Adebayo has left Bristol City. He will not be playing his football at Ashton Gate next season. There were some pretty solid talk about him being offered a deal from Leicester and that he had been seen at the training ground, but that was later thrown in the basket, as just fairy stories. We just have to wait and see what happens next.
There are also reports linking Nathan Opoku with a permanent move to Northampton. There are also other clubs at League Two level looking at the Leicester attacker. We were a bit surprised to not see him in the squad vs. Northampton, but then we possibly have an explenation.
Boreham Wood striker Abdul Abdulmalik has been linked with a move to Leicester. This happened first as early as May, but has since been a bit in and out. Swedish club Djurgarden has had a bid of £1million turned down, that is a fact, so we just have to wait and see what we will find in the next couple of days.
