Leicester City have signed goalkeeper Franco Ravizzoli on a free transfer from Blackpool. The shot-stopper becomes Russell Martin's seventh signing of the summer. Ravizzoli has signed a three-year contract with City following Fran Vieites' departure by mutual consent. The Spaniard moved to the club last summer and made zero competitive appearances. Ravizzoli previously worked with Martin at MK Dons, joining the club on a free transfer in 2021 after training with the first team towards the end of the 2020/21 season. The Argentine played nine times for the Dons before moving to Wycombe Wanderers and appearing 52 times. Ravizzoli made just eight appearances for Blackpool after joining the club 12 months ago. "I feel ready for a new challenge and am really looking forward to working with [Russell Martin] again. “Leicester is a big club with ambitions to be successful again, and I will give everything to help them on that journey. I’ve heard great things about the club, the city and the fans so it feels like the right place for me to keep improving. "I'm looking forward to working hard every day to challenge for a place in the team; I can’t wait to get going.”
