He scored seven goals and provided three assists in 29 appearances, but it wasn't enough to prevent them from being relegated. The Hammers, who are among the favourites for promotion this campaign, are looking to add a third centre-forward to Nuno Espirito Santo's squad. Journalist Ben Jacobs has since reported that West Ham have enquired about his availability. Vardy is understood to have plenty of interest, with a decision yet to be made on his next club. Vardy returned to Leicester earlier this summer and posted a video on Instagram of him conducting fitness drills at Seagrave, while wearing the club's new training kit inside the dome. However, the LE2 legend is not returning to the club, having confirmed on his podcast in June that a "homecoming" would not be happening. "I'll always support them and follow them, that’s the best thing I can do now," he said. Retirement isn't something Vardy is considering either, with the striker confirming he has no plans to hang up his boots. “No, I’m not going to give up playing just yet, but it’s something more for later down the line," he said.
