With competition for places across the forward line, the Jamaican is keen to establish himself as the main man this term. Asked if he has a specific goals target in mind this season, Lowe told The Star: “As many as physically possible. I don't want to put a cap on it, but as many as physically possible. “Yes, being the top goalscorer for the club is one that I try to do every year for every club that I've ever been at. The aim is to be the top goalscorer for the club, and wherever that pushes you. “If someone else gets 15, that means you've got to get 16. If someone else gets 25, that means you've got to get 26. There is no number in the back of my mind. It is to be at the top and score as many as I can.” Owls boss Henrik Pedersen deployed Burstow as his starting striker against Wanderers, while fellow loanee Harry Gray provided support from the left flank. Both players, like Lowe, are versatile attackers, meaning internal competition for a starting berth is, according to the latter, vitally important. “Yes, it's massive,” Lowe added. “All of us are so competitive. Even in training, we'll do a finishing drill, and it's a competition. Who scores the most? Whose weak throw is better? Do you know what I mean? It’s always a competition, and I feel like we’ve got a real healthy competition this year, especially in the attacking options. It’s only going to push everyone.”
